Taking too long - xfinity cable and internet


First of all, Xfinity seems VERY unprofessional. I've been back and forth about dish and Xfinity. I could never make up my mind. That is until an Xfinity salesman showed up at my place. We talked for a while and I decided to go ahead and get the Xfinity economy package. He called everything in and it came up that the property was not serviceable because of a previous tenant, I'm renting the property by the way. The previous tenant had an outstanding account to the property. Well the salesman said that its no big deal and that all they had to do was notify the right supervisors and they'll submit a ticket about how I'm a new tenant. This was all Thursday November 17th. Here it is now Sunday November 20th and I still have no service, let alone knowing ANYTHING that's going on. The salesman showed up again on the 18th and said that the people behind the desks screwed everything up because they submitted the wrong ticket. He said he tried to contact his supervisor and from what he told me was that she seemed pretty uninterested. Now being the 20th and me not hearing anything at all about what's going on, I'm leaning towards dish network just because I'm getting tired of this experience already and that if they are having this much trouble setting up a brand new customer (I've never had cable) then what are the next 12 months going to be like when or if they hook me up. The salesman was doing his job, and a good one at that. He's not the problem. I'm just very unsatisfied and really not wanting to deal with Xfinity or their unprofessional services.
