Since Upgrading to X1, constant outages. - COMCAST CABLE TV

We all already know Comcast/Xfinity is one of the worst customer service companies on the planet so I won't get much into that. Anyways, about a month ago, my roommate called in to get a new box for his room, he just got a new TV recently. Boring story, I know. While he's on the phone they convince him to "upgrade" to the X1 system. A tech has to come to give us a new box, hooks it up, then condescendingly explains to us how television works. Maybe because this X1 thing is just so flippin' advanced? Nah... it just illuminates my living room. I mean, really... the front LED clock is BRIIIIGHT. But that's not my complaint. My complaint is that as I type this, I am in an outage. I work evenings and get home at 12:30am. I would say every other night the service is interrupted every few minutes. Sometimes its an error message, sometimes its a cryptic code that leads to an error message after a Google search. Or maybe it does this absurd game of channel ping pong on your TV, automatically reverting to the previous channel you had selected if the current one loses signal. It gets really fun when the channels begin alternating reception with a subtle tempo. Solution? Reset the box. Takes a good few minutes, and usually doesn't yield results. This was rarely an issue with the old, regular, normal box. X1 is just untested garbage.
