  • Comcast Xfinity cable internet

Previously, 10 years ago, I was a complete (tv, internet, etc) Comcast Xfinity customer. I left due to the horrendous customer service, outages that lasted for days. I vowed never to go back, BUT I did. I subscribed just to cable internet at a roughly $50 / month charge (approx. 30MB service). After 1 year the price rose 65% to $85 / month! due to my own fault of not reading the fine print which was not agreeing to a mutli year contract. The deception in the wording (the hook) is "no contract necessary" (for the $50 / month pricing). Though it is fast when working, there... More...

  • Taking too long

First of all, Xfinity seems VERY unprofessional. I've been back and forth about dish and Xfinity. I could never make up my mind. That is until an Xfinity salesman showed up at my place. We talked for a while and I decided to go ahead and get the Xfinity economy package. He called everything in and it came up that the property was not serviceable because of a previous tenant, I'm renting the property by the way. The previous tenant had an outstanding account to the property. Well the salesman said that its no big deal and that all they had to do was notify the right supervisors and... More...

You were not paying attention" really. And, not true. I was staring at,their video screen. 3) when I responded with "bullshit!" The kid tells me to "shut, your, mouth" ... Really?4 4 complained to the center manager (7 voice messages and 2 emails). Jacob Reyes 5) no response from the guy until Aug 24 when I reached corporate. • Comcast crappy service

After replacing the boxes in my kids rooms three times, by going to the center and picking them up wasting my time and gas and paying for service that I haven't been able to use, no help from customer service and many hours on the phone, I have decided to go with either dish or direct tv if they can't resolve their issues within their company, no more refurbished boxes that don't work, not sure they even test them to make sure they are working properly either that or their standards are they don't care, absolutely the sorriest company I've ever dealt with, if they... I got a new XfINITY CABLE BOX and after 6 hrs the box shut down. After another 6 hrs, it never did come on. The service dept had me jumping thru hoops to fix i from my end. I was very clear about the 3 lights that wouldnt stop blinking. This was Saturday. On Sunday the service guy came out and immediately said the box was broken. Also told me that one out of 10 boxes are sent out broken. I thought everything was ok but the next day I couldnt change channels. I called Comcast and once again they had me jumping thru hoops to fix it. 4 hrs later I was able to change the channels. Yesterday the... More...

  • lied about offer

they advertise an offer for internet and cable for 39.95 and no extra install cost. After 1 year of fighting with them over the refunds for over charging me I tried to cancel just the TV portion and was told the price for just the internet was 64.95. Only new customers can get any reasonable prices. Customer service is the rudest people ever! More...

  • Scams from Xfinity

I ordered Xfinity Home Security from Comcast/Xfinity. I have never in my life been through such a horrific nightmare! The story is so long and horrible, I will just say do not even look at their website...move on. Now, they are telling me that I am a liar because I was promised a $200 Visa Gift Card for ordering home security with a 2 yr. service. I read the offer to the salesperson to verify that I would receive this card and she said yes. So I signed up based on this "special" offer. It has been 3 months and after 27 hours of dealing with their horrible customer service... More...

  • Xfinity #notworthit

I had a guy come door to door selling xfinity and I thought why not hear him out. After speaking with him twice I decided to go with it. He promised me that it was a locked price for 2 years and it would not increase after 12 months. The day before the installation I then checked the service bill to doublecheck everything before the installation. What a liar. The price was scribbled out and then rewritten in very small print. I remember he wrote 109.99 before I signed and changed it after I signed. I then called him and found that there was a price increase after 1 year. I was... More...

  • Xfinity Platform does not deliver

I have grown up with Comcast as out primary cable provider my whole life, and when I was younger I never had any problems in my parents house it ran like a dream. So when I moved in with my boyfriend I was immediately disappointed when he had FIOS in his home. It took me a while getting used to but I ended up loving it, we never had internet issues, cable box never had problems playing anything. When we moved into our new apartment we were told we only have Comcast cable lines so we cant have Verizon...I was fine with that because once again I never had issues with Comcast in the past. My... • Comcast Xfinity Cable is not worth the cost!

Comcast Xfinity Internet is great, no complaints. The alarm service, fine. Cable completely sucks, On Demand is always messed up, error messages constantly whenever you try to view or buy a show or movie. I cannot believe we pay hundreds of dollars every month for boxes that are always need to be restarted. If you want to watch something on On Demand on the weekend, forget it - they can't handle their traffic. We have access to every channel they offer, yet I constantly get messages that a channel isn't included in my package, so I have to try 3 or 4 times. Oh, and the DVR... More...

  • Comcast Xfinity TV and Internet Service

Last Monday I call Comcast for the third time to remove old cable completely on right side of the house when you are facing the house from the road because I am converting to gas and the gas company is running a meter to that side of the house. When I spoke the service representative I explain what this need to be taken care of that I try two other time and when they upgrade and move the cable to the other side the should have removed it then. She reassure me that she spoke with her supervisor and she was also going to email it to the maintain department and someone would call me within... More...

  • Since Upgrading to X1, constant outages.

We all already know Comcast/Xfinity is one of the worst customer service companies on the planet so I won't get much into that. Anyways, about a month ago, my roommate called in to get a new box for his room, he just got a new TV recently. Boring story, I know. While he's on the phone they convince him to "upgrade" to the X1 system. A tech has to come to give us a new box, hooks it up, then condescendingly explains to us how television works. Maybe because this X1 thing is just so flippin' advanced? Nah... it just illuminates my living room. I mean, really... the... More...

  • Xfinity service is the worst

Iam looking forward to my contract with xfinity being up so I can switch to another provider. Since I have been in Colorado I have had Satellite service and another cable provider. I moved to a place where xfinity was my only choice it is the worse service ever. The equipment never works. You are always receiving error messages. Customer service is horrible. I had more reliability with satellite during a snow storm than wit xfinity during a sunny day. The service is over priced for the quality and service you receive. LIARS, THIEFS, & WORST customer service. This company has taken $200 from us and promised to mail us a check and that it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. We waited and waited and waited. Never received the check. Contacted them again wasting countless hours on the phone with un professional time wasting employees. They told us they didn't send a check and won't be sending one. They lied to us and entangled us in their web of lies and asinine time wasting customer support playing ring around a rosies. It's been over a year and still haven't seen any money and... More...

  • Unreliability and horrible service (aka) No service

We have comcast bundle ( approximately 300.00/mo) We continue to have dropped coverage and when you call to seek assistance you get a representative from a non-English speaking country. That would be okay if I too was in a non-English speaking country. Accents that are too heavy along with poor phone(comcast service too) connection negate the attempt to have a English speaking person available. The service for new customers has a person answer the line only to send you to recorded hell land which in the ends disconnects you before you have any opportunity to speak to a live person. Thus... • Comcast Rockville

Comcast is one of the worst business I have dealt with. We signed a contract over a two year period. After some time, I have noticed that Comcast has decreased (unauthorized) some TV channels. High speed internet Comcast claims, also disconnected frequently to the point of disrupting me from completing important tasks. Comcast also crept up in monthly billing amount. Some day, Comcast charged extra for modem rental, in which I personally own (I did not borrow the modem from Comcast). I called to correct the issue, but Comcast kept on stating otherwise. They asked when I purchased my own... More...

  • Comcast fraudulently charging credit card

Comcast is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I started up service about 2 weeks ago and they cancelled my order. I found this out after trying to pick up the equipment at one of their stores. I start service again and they charge me a $100 for a deposit. I go again to pick up the equipment and they cancelled the service again. By this time I was completely frustrated and annoyed but I still decided to get the service. Come to find out I had to pay a $200 deposit for internet and cable which I decided to do. They told me that they would pay the first months bill because of my hassle.... More...

  • Xfinity is AWFUL for services, customer service, etc.

I have had endless issues with Comcast from the beginning. I honestly don't even have the time and energy to make a complaint about each and every incident, so let's just talk about the most current issue. I called customer service at 5:30 this evening requesting to pay $100 on my bill and to postpone the rest to next Friday. The representative told me that my request was acceptable and made a note so I could pay the $100 dollars after I loaded money onto my card. At around 7 this evening I went to pay the amount I was told would keep my services secure and was told by another... More...

My husband and I moved last August and signed up for Comcast/Xfinity for our internet and cable needs. Since then we've had very poor internet quality and have made several calls to customer service. Each time we were told the same thing- unplug and replug in the wireless router. It would work for a few hours, then the internet would go back to being literally snail like. It would take 5 minutes for 1 web page to load. We were to the point of having to reset our router multiple times per day. We finally called and really complained and Comcast sent us to a new router, and set up an... More...

  • Comcast Xfinity OnDemand not working

I was catching up on the regular network tv shows I'd missed on Xfinity's on demand. I had finished one episode and was trying to select another episode, when I got a pop-up box on screen saying my selection required a subscription. This didn't make sense, since my bill was current, I could watch other channels other than those through On Demand, and the shows I was trying to watch were free. I called Comcast's technical support. The first rep said she'd reset my box but then she hung up on me. The next person said she'd remotely reset my box and it would take... More...

  • The Comcast X1 platform is a big steming pile of Sh!te

I have been a comcast customer for over 12 years ($150 - $200/month x 12 months x 12 years = somewhere around $24,000.00 in service fees and rentals). Recently "upgraded" to the X1 platform, and what an enormous steaming pile of crap it is. Having experienced my 12th outage (all day) within two week period; I decided to cut the cord and find another option. I have called too many times to remember without resolution and the bottom line is that comcast misleadingly sold me the X1 when I clearly do not have the signal capacity (old wires that do not bring signal to the box) to... I feel like all costumer service is based on lie! You can' trust their offers, and anytime you ask them to put the offer in writing, such as email, they say that the company policy forbid this. I signed up for a deal triple play with priced locked for 12 month. Six month later, price went up by 25%, and they kept billing my credit card. I was not checking my bills because I trusted them, big mistake! Now I am trying to obtain refund, but they keep saying that price was looked for only 6 month. Worst customer service ever. Worst platform ever. As I type this I am watching the set up screen for at least the 20th time over the last few weeks. Worked great the first month now I can barely watch tv. I hit the guide button I receive an error accessing the x1platform. I hit the xfinity button I receive an error accessing the x1 platform. • Comcast serviceability request met the BRICK WALL!

I called Comcast to see about initiating service at an address in Magnolia, TX back in May, 2014. I received a recorded message indicating that service was not available. I knew that - I used their online service to determine availability. Ok, and this was after doing some legwork and finding the end of Comcast's line less than 1.6 miles from my new residence. So I called again and received a "Serviceability Assessment" ticket # 568-634. Again, I received the prerecorded message. These people just don't get it! • Inconsiderate of a customer's time

Comcast scheduled a transfer from FIOS to Xfinity for 8/6/2014 between 9 -11. I took a half day off from work. Service person shows up a few minutes after 11. He starts making the necessary changes at the outside box, about 15 min., then he comes in to install the DVR. At the same time I call Fios to disconnect. The Fios person says... You can't do it today because your phone number is scheduled to be ported on 8/7. The service person hears this, confirms with Xfinity, and says...I can't install until Fios releases the number. • Worst customer service

Imagine my surprise when I received a letter from a collections service for services I never received. The techs came out real quick to install my internet. They said they needed a longer cable. This is the last time I saw them. I have a file from all the many phone calls I made trying to get a tech to come out. I was told they would come out many days. I have continuous issues with pixilation on Xfinity On Demand. A service technician came and told me that I have old equipment and need to go to the local office in Chico, CA to get it upgraded which is very annoying since I have only had the service over a year and he told me I should have gotten the latest equipment at that time. • Miserable Experience

The worst customer service experience. After getting over the initial hurdles of setup/install (including defective equipment) & package pricing, I was hounded for pastdue account balances as a result of inaccurate billing. Each time, I explained to the customer service reps the situation & informed them that I would continue to make routine payments every 2 weeks. I spoke with reps who were arrogant, contentious, & condescending. Rather than being empathetic & identifying a solution, they scolded me. • Failure to Resolve - Email Addresses to Executives for Complaints

At the end of April, we upgraded our Comcast Xfinity package to receive a better internet connection. From the moment Comcast entered our home the issues began. Cable service has been spotty and troublesome, our techs gave us a sales form that indicated that both HBO and Starz would be added to our services which to this date has not been added. • Comcast- Billing SNAFU

I was billed in error last month (May, 2014), over billed by $592.50, because I tried to get a sports package (MLS Direct Kick) unsuccessfully, and I was billed $79 and change each time the signal was sent to my set top box. The only problem was, I didn't get the service for six weeks. This month, I have been over billed again, to the tune of about $600.00. Have you ever had one of those days? Last December a comcast salesman arrived at my door to sell the Xfinity home to add to our existing services. I told him there was a possibility my husband would be transferred out of state. This is the worst internet service provider possible .
